Family, friends, photography, art, sports, and cooking have always been constants in my life. I’m a true people person. I genuinely enjoy getting to know others and learning from the wisdom of their experiences. My husband and three children are the center of my world. They inspire and motivate me to grow every day, filling me with hope and reinforcing my belief in the good in the world.

I am the youngest of five children, raised in Oakland, CA. I love rap music, gold hoop earrings, a good taco truck, and a strong cup of coffee. My brother gave me a camera in sixth grade, and I have been taking pictures ever since, exhibiting my fine art and sharing my work in shows and publications. My photography took a new direction as I began specializing in B’nai mitzvah, inspired by my children’s transition into Jewish adulthood.

I enjoy serving my various communities. I love my writing center, cooking for family and friends, spending time at my synagogue and in the Jewish community, and advocating for mental health and recovery. A life of service gives meaning to my past and hope for the future.
