Coming of Age

A mix of joy, curiosity, and self-consciousness mark the early teenage years. At this age, when self-esteem and independence take on new importance, the B’nai Mitzvah ritual captures a pivotal moment of transformation.

Every time you scroll through your photos, you get to re-live those moments, and this is why photography is magic.

I shoot with Nikon cameras and use primarily natural light. My favorite lenses are the 50mm 1.4, 24-70mm 2.8, and 70-200mm 2.8. I work most in the East Bay and Contra Costa County, where I have deep roots in the Jewish community, but I am happy to travel around the Bay Area!
